Happy New Year All! I cannot believe it is 2016 already… where has the time gone?
Here are 3 things I learnt in 2015:
1. Power posing – if you haven’t tried it – DO! So I had a job interview which I was really nervous about. I wanted to make sure I was ready and well prepared for it so I did some google research and found a Ted Talks video about how 2 minute power poses can raise your confidence. Google it yourself and have a look!
2. Family is important, whether they are your family by blood, marriage or family you have chosen for yourself. They can make you smile, make you laugh, shed tears together and grow together. I lost a family member this year which was tough but it bought us all closer together. Make sure you let your family know how important and special they are to you!
3. Be grateful. For everything. For running water from the tap, for heating, for friends, family and food. Be grateful for what you have not what you don’t have.
So this year I have decided not to put lots of pressure on myself with new years resolutions I probably will not keep but to be grateful for everything and everyone I have in my life in 2016.
